If you like or do any work on music, the amitestreet allows do follow links on user profile pages, very sticky. Click “join for free” on the top right and create your profile like normal.
Also the site is worth checking out in its own right.

Here is a really quality site if you need to promote anything local food/diet/health related. ‘Serious Eats’ allows do follow links off of user profile pages. And yes some of the profile pages do have PR.

If you have anything geeky or educational to promote, give fold.it a look over. You can create a profile and then link to your homepage, pretty straight forward.

The forum at World RPS, allows you to post links on your profile page with your own anchor text, they rank. Great if you have a site for quark games or just about anything else for people who need to make decisions. Yahoo especially, likes them.

Saving the Best For Last, I was not sure if i wanted to post this in case it blows up. But your profile can be like tiny little squido pages on just about any topic a magazine could be about. You control a picture, inline text with full anchor text and H1 tag.

I like especially the last one. But probably you need something publish to let the profile page rank. Yet, this seems a good idea to me to (mini)site monetization: sell the content of your site/blog as print. I have some which could do that maybe. Did you try it?
