@JASON - I tend to do my own copywriting when i think it will bring in sales. I hate doing it to, its painful really, but its so hard to find a good copywriter for anywhere near a reasonable price, it just makes sense to do it myself.

This is not the same as search engine content, articles, forum posts etc, where outsourcing is effective and cheap.

Thanks so much for your kind words about my posts, i will try to keep the standard up.

This was the best series of blog posts I've ever read on starting and creating an online empire. Between you and Eli, there just isn't many secrets people should pay for as to how to do this stuff anymore.

Any recommendations as to a good email copywriter? I just want to crank out sites and email copy is to me like "doing dishes." I can do it, but damn I hate it.

PS. The quality of content on your blog is so high I have to either go dedicate a post to you, or declare my site "rubbish." lol

You missed the P in com_fuck*ing_pletely ;)

Do you not even try to get someone to the sales letter unless they're on the list first? i.e. SERP -> Sales Letter/Review/Farticle?

When you first build a site, which do you prioritize, email sign up form or sales letter? Also, if you have a blog with a back cat' of posts, is email list as important if the person can just click through your existing info then & there? I

I can def see how email list are v important for "thin" sites, because they're thin, but aren't they a bit redundant/less relevant for sufficiently info rich sites?

With all this said, I'm a complete email marketing virgin. Sometime soon though, I'm sure.

Another excellent read. This line pretty much sums it up: "Nobody wants to buy from a company, period. Nobody. "
